The organizers, the City of Makarska and the Makarska Tourist Board, invited all fellow citizens, our guests and friends to come and enjoy the unique Advent magic by the sea.
Citizens amazed by the lighting
Even before the official opening of the Christmas Town, many visitors gathered and commented without exception: Hats off and congratulations to the organizers, we have never had a more beautiful space for the Advent program which we will be able to enjoy until 6 January. The Advent magic began in a city that had never been more lavishly decorated, mainly due to the lighting.
In order for everything to be top-level, music diva Nina Badrić performed at the opening. Welcoming the visitors, she admired the Makarska Christmas fairy tale. The song “Tako kao ti” then started, followed by her other hits. The audience was no less delighted by the performance of Slavonian tamburitza players Veseli šokci. At the beginning, Dražen Nemčić, Deputy Mayor of Makarska, and Hloverka Novak Srzić, Director of the Tourist Board, greeted all visitors to the Christmas Town on behalf of the organizers.
